History of the Camera - 1890

Half of the Caja Indian tribe is surrendering to live on a reservation. Finnius Locke photographs the "civilized" Indians, despite the protest of their medicine man Two Birds, who warns them that the camera will take their souls.

When some of the free Cajas come to visit those on the reservation, they find nothing but dust. They blame the soldiers and destroy the fort, killing everyone there.

Everyone except Finnius, who disappeared with the camera.
